In just a few hours on this Valentine’s Day, porn watchers across the internet will put down their phones, laptops, and other devices to opt for something a little more IRL.

According to Pornhub’s Valentine’s Day analytics report, the site usually sees a tank in traffic of as much as 17 percent after 6pm during the day of romance, with the peak drop hitting around 9pm.

Pornhub also found women are much more likely to leave the site throughout the day, seeing a 22 percent peak drop at 9pm, with men staying on until about 6pm, then seeing a 19 percent drop around the same time.

Nevada, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island are among the states with the largest drops in traffic on V Day, while Minnesota, Vermont, and Louisiana see drops of just 2 percent. Searches for porn relating to, “Valentine,” as well as “love,” “passionate,” and “romance,” see significant jumps on the big day, with the first term seeing an increase of 1,093 percent.

That’s not to say that single folks with nowhere to go on a Tuesday night are out of luck—for today only Pornhub is giving away free Pornhub Premium, providing access to ad-free, high-definition videos, faster streaming, and full DVDs for a service that’s typically $9.99 a month.

“Get stoked to spend this V-day with your new bae, Pornhub Premium. No credit card, no strings, just free Premium on Valentines,” the promotional webpage reads.

Maybe the 24-hour promo will be just the trick to keep Pornhub’s views on the rise during such a romantic day.
