According to a Milwaukee County search warrant, Facebook is being asked to hand over information about a 14-year-old girl after she and two other teens allegedly livestreamed sex acts over the social media platform.

Four students allegedly viewed the video on their phones while in health class at the Barack Obama School in January. “The school immediately notified proper authorities and cooperated with the investigation,” Milwaukee Public Schools said in a statement. “We took appropriate disciplinary action against those involved, which would be in addition to any outside consequences they may face.”

The two girls listed on the warrant could face charges of exposing a child to harmful material. The teenage boy involved is not listed as a suspect on the warrant, but he may also not be a student at the school. A few parents have claimed the school didn’t inform them of the incident.

The existence of livestreaming services has made broadcasting sex acts extremely easy. One World of Warcraft player accidentally streamed himself having sex after he left his webcam on. And, on a more traumatic note, last month an Ohio woman was indicted for broadcasting another woman’s rape on Periscope. Unfortunately, it’s not hard to imagine we’ll be seeing a lot more cases like these.
