Only a month after getting stuck on a ride at Universal Studios, Silicon Valley star Kumail Nanjiani found himself in an even more precarious scenario on Friday night. He said he was harassed by Donald Trump supporters while at a Los Angeles bar, and he took to Twitter on Saturday to recount his experience.

At that point, Nanjiani said a bouncer ran over and kicked the harassers out of the bar. The bartender also was apologetic. But Nanjiani wrote that he couldn’t believe he had been verbally accosted in a bar surrounded by plenty of other people. “I can’t imagine what it must be like to be someone who looks like me in other parts,” he wrote.

Since Trump was elected, there have been plenty of accounts of supposed Trump supporters harassing people of color and the LGBT community. So, Nanjiani’s experience doesn’t seem to be a rare occurrence. But at least he has a substantial fanbase that can take notice and, hopefully, be rallied for good.
