Nothing wrong with curling up with a good book.

Hillary Clinton continued her quaint, quiet tour of post-election healing this weekend by stopping into a bookstore in Westerly, Rhode Island.

Savoy Bookstore employee Jessica Wick wrote on Facebook that Clinton popped in with Bill, Chelsea, Chelsea’s husband, Marc Mezvinsky, and baby Charlotte in tow. Though Wick wanted to say much more to the former presidential candidate, she didn’t want to be intrusive, so she kept it simple. “I told her I voted for her, that she meant and means a lot… She was gracious and she was warm and she said the bookstore was beautiful. Bill Clinton shook my hand and complimented my sweater.”

Clinton was spotted going for a walk in the woods near her home in Chappaqua, New York, just days after the election. At a Children’s Defense Fund event last week, Clinton said, “There have been a few times this past week when all I wanted to do is just to curl up with a good book or our dogs and never leave the house again.”
