You can make your Christmas light display extra awesome this holiday season with these incredible DIY glowing lightsabers

The fun decorations were created by Bob Clagett of I Like To Make Stuff for a Star Wars Christmas display he was hired to make for a company. Luckily he decided to share the process behind making them on his website and YouTube channel, so everybody can add a little of the Force to their holiday decorating.

Clagett used some very basic materials for the project like spray paint and duct tape, along with LED spotlights, clear corrugated plastic roofing, cardboard concrete forms, and wood.

While you might need to invest in the materials and tools if you don’t have them already, at least the process of making the light-up decorations seems simple enough.

You don’t have to use these glowing lightsabers for just your holiday display either. As Clagett demonstrates in his video they are clearly fun to use when having a super-sized duel, and it’d just be awesome to have a giant lightsaber around the house. You never know when you might need one.
