Schleich debuts new DC Comics and dinosaur figures at Toy Fair 2016

The toy maker is releasing 175 new figurines this year.

Schleich is a toy maker that’s been around for 80 years, but 2016 is shaping up to be one of its best years ever.

The toy maker is releasing 175 new figurines in 2016, from dragons to princesses to marine life.

At this weekend’s New York Toy Fair, the German toy company unveiled the newest additions to its line of DC Comics figurines. Wonder Woman, Cyborg, and the Flash join other Justice League and Suicide Squad members.

As part of its Wild Life collection, the company is releasing elaborate new themed nature sets ranging from safari life to aquatic life. Most figurines can also be purchased individually.

The toy maker is also releasing a new line of dinosaurs and prehistoric reptiles, including Tyrannosaurus Rex.

The prehistoric line also contains mini-figurines in sets of two. The sets come with quick-solve puzzles for kids.

On the fantasy side, Schleich is expanding its dragon-filled Eldrador fantasy universe.

If you’d rather dream of princesses, elves, and fairy castles, the Bayala world is for you. Bayala has grown so popular that a new animated film based on the universe is in production, scheduled for 2018.

Most individual Schleich figurines retail for between $3 and $10, with full sets ranging from $20 to $99. Look for them online or at your local toy retailer.
