There has never been as much hype for an indie game like there has been for Hello Games’s No Man’s Sky.

Due to the hype, everyone is clamoring for as much information as possible. Hello Games, however, has been tight-lipped.

Luckily, Game Informer was able to get Sean Murray from Hello Games and band 65daysofstatic to sit down and talk music.

Since the game’s first trailer, it’s been quite evident that the mix of exploring the vastness of space coupled with the epic scope of post-rock had to be deliberate. It turns out it was. Interestingly, the collaboration was mutual. Both parties had something to gain from one-anothers’ expertise.

No Man’s Sky is set to come out sometime next year. We cannot wait to get our hands on the game.
