Want to put an end to all those arguments you have with your friends about whether Marvel or DC Comics is better? Then challenge your friend to a chess match using amazing comic-book character game pieces.

The Eaglemoss chess pieces, on sale at Entertainment Earth, feature individual characters at $15.99 or $16.99 and sets of two characters from $15.99 to $37.99. The product line covers heroes from both publishing worlds. Each hero gets a normal chess piece’s role, from pawn to king, and comes with a special collector magazine.

Looking at the pieces online, it’s clear from the apparent detailing on each figure that they’d be cool to have around even if you didn’t play chess. Imagining entire sets of Marvel and DC characters battling it out in a game of chess, though, is even better!

You can see a selection of pieces below. They’re all available on Entertainment Earth’s website.
