Mad Max: Fury Road is already fully committed to its grizzly post-apocalyptic aesthetic, but if you’re as into the film as we are, then you know there’s always room for a retro-remix that brings the latest franchise installment home to the style of its predecessors.

So we’re pretty happy about the latest Fury Road trailer remix. It’s made by YouTube channel Playback Collective, which is dedicated to splashing things with that retro look.

In the case of Fury Road, the film’s oversaturated look is already practically made for this treatment. Add in some classic ’80s synthesizers and suddenly Fury Road fits right in alongside any of the original Mad Max films.

All we’re missing is Tina Turner.
