Game of Thrones takes place in a world of fantasy, but that doesn’t mean we won’t try to calculate as much data as we possibly can about Westeros anyway.
It’s Okay to Be Smart is the latest channel to take on the daunting task, and while the fantasy elements could easily be chalked up to “magic,” host Joe Hanson tries to find out why the seasons in Westeros are so inconsistent and whether Daenerys’s dragons could even exist.
The answers aren’t concrete by any means, but it’s still fascinating, especially when the scientific origins of things are a little easier to find.
Like Jon Snow, we might know nothing, but that doesn’t mean we still won’t enjoy it it.
