There's always money in the banana stand.

Captain America: Civil War directors Anthony and Joe Russo may be helming some of Marvel’s biggest franchises these days, but they manage to place a well-hidden Easter egg in the movie that hat tips their early days as comedy TV directors.

Combined, they’ve directed more than a dozen episodes of Arrested Development (for which they won an Emmy) and more than 30 episodes of Community, and in the past they’ve made more obvious nods to that part of their career like featuring Danny Pudi and Jim Rash in minor roles. However, their nod to Arrested Development is a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment.

During the climactic fight between Team Cap and Team Iron Man in the Leipzig airport, there’s a red, white, and blue vehicle with a set of stairs in the background. First spotted by Janel Drewis, he noticed that the throwaway vehicle, which we could easily mistake for something used at an airport, looked very familiar.

It’s the same car the Bluths used in Arrested Development.

We’re pretty sure we know how G.O.B. would react to being caught up in that fight.

There’s always money in the banana stand? Well, how else will the Cap be able to support himself while on the run?
