If you want to be the hero of your weekly board-game session for choosing the perfect game, you need only consult one flowchart.

Given how popular board games are at events like Gen Con and PAX, and given how easy it is to try one of hundreds of games, you might find your shelves filling up fast with an overwhelming number of options. Even the most seasoned board-game player might feel paralyzed trying to make such an important choice for his or her friends.

Thankfully, this flowchart, which was uploaded to the r/gaming subreddit, can help you make the decision in just 15 easy steps.
