Attack on Titan is a bloody, unnerving, and terrifying anime, and the upcoming Attack on Titan game looks fit to match.
The new teaser trailer published today for the Attack on Titan game being developed for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita shows Titans with their characteristic and awful grins, being chopped to pieces by teenage heroes armed with Three Dimensional Maneuver Gear.
Luckily, we’re spared any footage of people being ripped to shreds by Titans, but you know it’s in the game somewhere.
Koei Tecmo, the publisher behind the Dead and Alive and Dynasty Warriors franchises, is showing the new Attack on Titan game at the Tokyo Game Show 2015, which began on Sept. 17 and ends on Sept. 19. You can get a look at some stills from the game on its official website.
The early teaser for Attack on Titan indicated a 2016 release date. Kotaku’s Japanese correspondent cites a 2015 release date for the new Attack on Titan game in Japan, and a 2016 release date in the West.
