This 5-year-old has some thoughts on Princess Leia’s infamous slave outfit from Return of the Jedi.

In a conversation animated by the Brothers McLeod, Adam Buxton and his daughter talk Star Wars. She’s observing the Star Wars annual, and although she knows that Jabba the Hut is a villain, she still can’t help but like the outfit he (or one of his henchmen) chose for Leia to wear. She’s too young to know what the word “demeaning” means, but her dad tries to explain it.

That doesn’t matter for the girl, who wouldn’t want to be a slave but still likes the outfit anyway.

“No,” she said. “I will just escape and keep wearing that. Because it looks really nice.”

She doesn’t care if other people disagree with her—even her dad. She’s gonna do just fine on the Internet.
