Esports crowd
This is esports.

Esports has different meaning for everyone. There are the people who have no idea what it means, of course (professional gaming, if you're one of 'em.) Among fans, there are those who just love watching people do something extremely well, something especially easy to relate to if you're a gamer yourself. There are the serious competitors too, who love watching the best of the best to glean whatever they can from superb performances. Then there or those who love watching others play—or who think esports is just a joke.

Whatever your stance, this video is for you.

Put together by “MasterCalvin”, the video brings together all the different kinds of esports and shows its common thread through highlights from various games and events, including League of Legends, Dota 2, Counter-Strike, Call of Duty, Super Smash BrosStarcraft 2 , Halo, and Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

At its heart, esports is about competition. The excitement you get from seeing hours, days, years of effort come to an epic conclusion, a singular moment that ends in a deserved victory or a crushing defeat.

Just make sure to steer clear of the comments, if you do decide to hit the YouTube page.
