Europe's world championship contenders will be decided in Poland.

League of Legends is heading to Poland this August.

The LCS Summer Finals in Europe will take place in Kraków at the Tauron Arena from Aug. 27 to 28. The Arena seats more than 15,000 people and regularly features competitions in a variety of sports, like hockey, volleyball, and handball. Now, it'll be packed for a video game.

Poland has a long history in esports and regularly hosts the Intel Extreme Master global final in Katowice. The nation produced one of the greatest teams in Counter-Strike history, the famous golden five. It’s also home to some of Europe’s top League of Legends pros. There are currently two Polish players starting in the EU LCS, Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski and Oskar “VandeR” Bogdan, and their team, H2k Gaming, is one of the favorites to reach the Kraków stage.

At Kraków, one of Europe’s entrants into the 2016 League of Legends World Championship will earn their spot at that event by winning the LCS title. H2k Gaming may the hometown heroes, but the league-leading 5-1-2 Fnatic and the defending champs G2 Esports at 4-0-4 will be in their way.
