The elbow injury kept GuardiaN out of the group stage of DreamHack Malmö

Na`Vi’s star player, Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács, is back from injury after a two week break. The elbow injury kept GuardiaN out of the group stage of DreamHack Malmö, forcing the team to sub in tactician Sergey "starix" Ischuk.

Even without their star, Na`vi performed well. Starix put on two vintage performances against Godsent and Counter Logic Gaming, securing Na`Vi a spot in the playoffs.

Following MLG Columbus, a number of professional Counter-Strike players have revealed that they've been suffering from severe pain in their wrists and arms and would be seeking treatment.

Last night, G2 Esports’ Richard “shox” Papillon revealed that he’ll be seeking medical assistance upon his return to France.

Fnatic’s star player, Olof “olofm” Kajbjer, likewise recently decided to stop competing outright until a similar injury heals, a decision that saw the team drop out of DreamHack Masters Malmö.

Playoffs begin Saturday. While the bracket is yet to be drawn, Na`Vi are currently the clear favorites for the title with Kovács back in the fold and Luminosity Gaming already out of the tournament.
