Zombie Psy was a big winner this Halloween, but we couldn't find anyone who went as Zombie Horse with Bayonet.

Think of a thing. Put the word “zombie” before it, and presto! You have a Halloween costume.

The Internet provided some great fodder for Halloween costumes in 2012, from the omnipresent Psy to “binders full of women.”  Here are some of the best zombified meme costumes to emerge from this year’s All Hallow’s Eve:

1) Zombie Psy

Perhaps the most popular topical costume of the year was “Gangnam Style” star Psy. The Korean rapper has been almost everywhere in recent months; trick or treaters turned him into the living dead. Sadly, @ZombiePsy is not yet a thing.

2) Zombie Overly Attached Girlfriend

Overly Attached Girlfriend was one of the year’s biggest memes, so it stands to reason that she’d be zombified for Halloween. The only difference is that it’s Laina herself dressing up as one of the undead.

3) Zombie Binder Full of Women

While there were several people who dressed as Mitt Romney carrying a binder full of women after his debate statement, Andrea Kline took top honors with her “binder of zombie women and parts”

4) Zombie Honey Boo Boo

Admittedly, this isn’t a costume, but it’s simply too awesome to not share. Twitter user @Midwestglam painted a portrait of Zombie Honey Boo Boo to hang above the fireplace in his haunted house.

5) Zombie Big Bird

A number of Twitter users considered putting together a Zombie Big Bird outfit (referring to Romney’s debate PBS funding cut remark) but sadly did not. While not a costume, one Instagram user created a creepy Zombie Big Bird toy a couple of weeks back.

Most disappointingly, not a single Twitter user that we could find made reference to dressing up as Zombie Horse with Bayonet. Nor did anyone we could find dress up as Zombie Chuck Grassley.

That said, maybe a zombie version of the deer he struck in a hit and run would have been a better option. Grassley assumed the deer was dead. We now wonder if he was only half-right.
