It's not too late to get a Valentine's Day gift
All week, we’ve been featuring Etsy shops that offer handmade items for your Valentine. However, crafting and shipping gifts takes time, and all four shops so far only guarantee delivery by Feb. 14 if you order by Feb. 6.
What’s a last-minute shopper to do?
At Green Lily Designs, seller Amy Robison will get gifts to you quickly by meeting you half way. The graphic designer sells printables that are delivered to your inbox in seconds. From love coupon books to a playful fortune teller card, Robison designs the products as PDFs. Of course, assembly is all up to you.
Each file will be emailed within 24 hours of purchase, she told the Daily Dot. “It does require some assembly so I'd recommend ordering early.”
Robison said her Valentine’s Day gifts come from the heart since they’re so customizable. In her coupon books, for example, it’s the giver who decides what each coupon grants.
“It could be to your spouse, boyfriend, child, sibling, friend, etc. The gift can be personalized for anyone you love,” she said.
One of the most memorable uses of the coupon book, Robison said, was when a mother and her three girls purchased it for Dad. The girls each wrote in a date they wanted to go out with him, and purchased the appropriate gift cards and tickets for each venue.
As for Robison herself, she plans on dressing up her one-month-old twin boys as matching Cupids when she delivers Valentines.
“Yes, I'm one of those embarrassing moms,” she admitted.
She calls it “embarrassing,” we call it awww-inducing. We can only imagine that her personalized gifts will bring plenty more of those moments to customers.
