Of all the things sprouting from South by Southwest Interactive, the shit people say is probably the worst.

Need proof? Just follow @ShitSXSWpplsay or its accompanying website. The Twitter feed retweets people using the #shitSXSWpeoplesay hashtag so everyone can enjoy your ripe-for-monetization thoughts. So you can read out loud the most obnoxious sentences people are saying here and pretend you’re in Austin.

The account started on March 10 of this year, which would explain why it has very few followers—just 150.

So far, SXSW goers have have been mostly mocking the seemingly never-ending conference.

“guru: for social media success, share meaningful stuff. later at night: twitpic of bigass margarita and free nacho bar! #shitsxswpeoplesay,” tweeted David Johnson.

Or, as Yuri Victor tweeted, all these apps he downloaded is just too much: “I got a message from someone and can’t figure out what app it’s in. #shitsxswpeoplesay

But if you’re so over reading, there is the eponymous Shit SXSW Panelists Say video, which has fewer than 1,000 views but contains enough phrases to perfectly sum up every SXSW panel ever.

On a more nostalgic note, check out the hashtag #tweetsfromsxsw1989, a trend started and curated by Austin music critic Michael Corcoran. Sample tweet: “I heard they were going to have a hip-hop act this year, but couldn’t find a corporate sponsor.”

Next Animation Media also delivered its own unique interpretation of the conference.

Now all you need to do is a stand in a long line to complete the SXSW experience.
