The Brooklyn Nets’ first home game in their new digs wouldn’t be complete without the borough’s first couple: Jay-Z and Beyoncé. Along with friends, the pair sat courtside being flawless and rooting on Jay-Z’s newest hobby. Go Beyoncé Nets!

This week’s New York Magazine cover is stunning. The picture taken from high above Manhattan shows a tale of two cities: one part with power and other aptly nicknamed SoPo—south of power. “Wow,” is the only reaction we could muster.

Louis CK was this weekend’s host of Saturday Night Live. Prior to hosting the show, he emailed a heartfelt letter to fans that had everyone on Twitter talking. The note described how New York City was reeling post-Superstorm Sandy while providing some comedic relief. Read the letter below.

In case if you were wondering what Lady Gaga’s stance on gay marriage was, well, it’s confirmed that she’s for it. Late Friday she released a 30-second endorsement for voters to support marriage equality bills in Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, and Washington.
