Warning: The lighting effects in these videos can be pretty intense.

You can find all sorts of strange and fascinating videos browsing through YouTube, and sometimes you stumble upon a category that surprises you. Turns out, millions of people watch others ride down water slides.

We have compiled a few of the most futuristic slides you can find on the internet. Enjoy.

The Black Hole

A water slide in Bremerhaven, Germany, provides a short trip through a universe of colorful lights.

The Black Hole is a 72-meter long ride that sends adventure-seekers through a pitch dark tube. It is intermittently lit by different colorful lighting effects. The ride lasts only 16 seconds and offers a slightly different experience each time.

The Green Viper

Not to be outdone by its German counterpart, Europabad Karlsruhe created the Green Viper, a special effects-filled journey through the heart of a snake. Adrenaline-junkies can choose between three different modes, one of which asks them to press circular green lights on their way down.

The Multimedia Slide

At Aquapark Wroclaw, Poland, this slide takes you through a series of unique sections. The fully enclosed slide ends by dumping you into a vortex. From there you can swim into a lazy rider and down a short slide to end the run.

Sleep Inn

If you aren’t in Europe there exists a similarly colorful ride in Liberty, Missouri. The slide is in a Sleep Inn hotel and features intense lighting on both its interior and exterior.

From stadiums to amusement parks, the potential of using technology in a recreational setting has grown tremendously over the past few years. It is certainly not hard to see why given the surprising interest in these tech-filled water slide videos.
