Sony unveiled its Xperia Agent robot prototype last year, and it has since beefed up its functionality to compete with the likes of Alexa and Siri

The company brought the enhanced version to the Expo floor at this year’s CES, and it will gain your acceptance with its cuteness.

The cute little robot is similar to other offerings on display, including LG’s Hub Robot. It too wants to add a personal touch to our world of cold, static, personal-assistant speakers.

The adorable Xperia Agent can link to social media profiles and streaming apps to display and play requested content, including photos, video, and music. For example, the robot could play Twenty One Pilots on your speakers, while showing you photos uploaded by a Facebook friend on your TV.

The robot’s personality is its most unforgettable characteristic. It will spin around to look at you when it speaks, and even start dancing to music.

This, we’re sure, will be cute to some, and just as terrifying to others.

The Agent is still a prototype, and does not yet have a release date.
