A call for questions to ask the Sherlock star led to a worldwide trending topic.

Brealey, who plays Molly Hooper, asked Twitter users if they had anything to say to the show’s star before their upcoming panel at this weekend’s Cheltenham Literary Festival. 18 hours, 115 retweets, 1 hashtag, and a worldwide trend later, Brealey has accepted Cumberbatch’s true power: as a social-media-crushing fan phenomenon.
