It’s happening. TVs are getting disrupted. They will soon rid of their “dumb” status, and ooze with lots of functionality and apps and interactivity and become “smart.”

Tencent/ACL is working together to deliver what appears to be a great, early interactive TV for early adopters like yourself. The Ice Screen is a slim, 26-inch interactive TV that helps to bring together four concepts into a single device: a large portable screen, a high-speed video player, a stylish music and photo album and a high-definition video communications platform. Or in other words, it brings together features that majority of the folks would want in their interactive, smart TV.

The hardware specs are also fairly robust with 1,366×768 resolution, dual-core Cortex A9 1GHz processor, a Mali 400 GPU, 4GB RAM and expandable storage up to 32GB. The panel also includes WiFi, an HDMI port, two USB ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. And of course, it’s loaded with Android 2.2 to power everything, a slight bummer. It’s available for sale for $315 for pre-order before its official launch on September 3.
